I use Mark Brown, sometimes he's not the friendliest person in the world, b=
ut he's very good at what he does. He used to be the Doobies Brothers Guita=
r & Bass tech from The Captain & Me to Living on the Fault-Line, with the g=
old records on the walls of his shop to prove it.  Mark came in, right as J=
ohn Hartford left the Band. Mark is the best in the Bay area IMO. His shop =
is in Campbell, on Dillon Ave. If anybody would like his number, please get=
 back to me & I'd be more than happy to give it out, to anybody that might =
want it. He's quick also. If you go see him, tell him that Rick with green =
G&L sent you & I promise that you'll receive excellent treatment & great se=
rvice. I've known Mark for years. Mark is set-up, to do any repair that you=
 might need. He's even set-up for painting, restoration, any type of repair=
 that you might need done & of course set-ups. Brian, check out Mark Brown.=
 I'm sure that you'll be a happy camper. Mark use to be a factory Fender & =
Gibson authorized repair shop, until it became such a pain, with all the pa=
per work & to recoup his money from both Fender & Gibson, that he finally s=
aid screw it. Because it became more trouble than it was worth. Plus, Mark =
knows just about everybody in the music business, if he's in a talkative mo=
od, he has some great stories to tell also. I hope this helps & take care.

what a great Bass. I've been using my 1980 Fender Jazz 1975 reissue that's =
been hot-roded out with DP149 ultra jazz pick-ups & a Gotoh high mass bridg=
