I'm sure I will catch a lot of flack on this but if I was going to spend $1= 60=20 I'd look for a Crate PowerBlock CPB 150 on eBay. In the Rock and Roll band = I=20 play in both the Lead Git and myself always bring ours to every job and ref= er to=20 them as the most valuable player. My main rig is an old Kustom K-200B-1 and= =20 2-15" cab. upgraded with 2- JBL M151 speakers. I almost never run it past "= 4"=20 and when you stand in front of it it feels like air blowing on your legs. I= have=20 actually knocked a beer glass off a table like 8 or 10 feet in front of the= =20 stage. I also play in a Jazz band and there I use the powerblock exclusivly drivin= g a=20 1- 12" caminet.=20 My point of all this is the PowerBlock is actually more powerfull then the= =20 orginal Kustom Head on the 2-15 cab and MORE then dose the job on the singl= e 12.=20 Further at 4-1/2 pounds it's one hell of a lot easier to move around then=20 anything else I have ever used.=20 And I have no Idea what the Lanmark 300 head is anyway.=C2=A0 I do just kno= w with a=20 reasonabley efficent 4 to 8 ohm cabinet you will be able to completely drow= nd=20 out any drummer if that is your goal. Also if you check it out the power bl= ocks=20 are going up in price, and that is for a reason. Cheep, lightweight, very dependable power =3D the CPB 150 Steve 'da ol' SmokeDog in Cleveland ________________________________ From: robmo63 <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, September 1, 2010 3:37:18 PM Subject: [Bass Place] Tech 21 Landmark 300 head =C2=A0=20 I have the chance to buy one of these for $160.
