With 101db efficency the JBLs actually don't need that much power=20 Seriously, I see 94db speakers all the time. Believe it or not they are 1/2= as=20 efficent as the 101db JBLs, In other words a 94db speaker driven at 100 wat= ts is=20 less the half as loud as a 101db speaker that is driven at 50 Watts.=20 So in my case,,,,Who needs more power?=20 But thanx=C2=A0for the thought, Barb.=C2=A0 Steve (AKA 'da ol' SmokeDog.)=20 ________________________________ From: Barbara Marconi <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, March 17, 2011 8:23:36 PM Subject: Re: [Bass Place] Bought a new head & cab =C2=A0=20 more power 2 u ________________________________ From: Steve Molk <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, March 17, 2011 7:17:10 PM Subject: Re: [Bass Place] Bought a new head & cab =C2=A0=20 Just too old here,,,,, I still use flatwounds on my olde J.
