When did you buy your Celeste?  I just bought another one (I needed an A 
major, and I decided to risk $20 rather than $25 on Suzuki's less expensive 
model), and it is excellent.  I have heard of something like one solid year 
of questionable runs of Celestes...but if you have one and get Hohner on the 
phone and complain, they will reportedly ship you a new and very good one 
quite quickly.
