Moustaches and all that

I've sported the hair on the top lip for over forty years now and I have had occasional difficulty with harmonicas.  There's nothing quite so painfully eye-watering as the trapped hair inadvertently yanked forcibly to one side or the other.  The only solution is to keep the 'tache trimmed.  I use one of those cheapie "personal trimmers," designed to trim the nose and ear hair.  I run it across my top lip every morning to ensure that no stray hairs find their unwarranted way into my embouchure zone.   I've become so adept at this that, at a pinch, I can do it without a mirror.   Of course, I do trim the whole beard periodically as well, but nowhere near as often.  By the way, whoever it was "up there" that decreed that the older human male should have excess and useless hair sprouting from 
 ears and nose was surely having a laugh. ;-)
