What I have found is a used original display with backlight and wiring harness from a part-out, supposedly tested and working. Of course, if the inverter doesn't work, I'd never know if the backlight on the display is actually any good. So if the inverter seems fine, I'm hoping for a quick and successful swap out. Fingers crossed!
