It might be worth resetting the internal memory (internal battery must be
unsoldered and resoldered or replaced) first even if you upgrade the EPROM.
1.0 ends up corrupting it when doing sysex programming.

I still have EEPROMs with 1.3 on them somewhere if you can't find someone
to program it. (Or you can buy a USB programmer) The hex file is in the
Yahoo group files.
