Hello again K5 group,<div><br></div><div>I got a response from Kawai: it turns out there were some "prototyping" units that were given away to dealers, etc., at the end of the products advertising. Some of the units apparently come up for sale every once in a while, and that's what I got.</div><div><br></div><div>The one I have has extensive patching and the ROM is in the other slot, not sure whats it supposed to be doing but it plays the default sound, just won't let me change important things like system exclusive.</div><div><br></div><div>I acquired a different M-003 board from a another K5m being parted out on Reverb.</div>
