Once I know those two things, we can make educated guesses about the rest. As far as scale goes, both the K5000 and the K5 use a logarithmic scale (decibels). That's why when you try programming a sawtooth waveform into the K5, for example, out of a textbook, which almost always shows the amplitudes with linear values, the results don't sound the way you'd expect.
