Fortunately for K5 users, the new backlight I installed in my Kurzweil K2000 is designed for 9V battery that is stepped up to 120V 400hz! Meaning it will work for both the K5 and the K2000. I know this is a K5 users group, but I am so excited about this cheap and easy alternative for my K2000 that I MUST try it on the K5. (My Kawai K5000 backlight still works great.) I am interested to see if you guys think it will be as easy to install on the K5 as it was on my Kurzweil. The company I purchased this backlight from is found at WWW.nightlaunch.com I used Pay Pal.
