Yes, they're worth about $150-200. If your father's K5 has never been 
used, a worn out one would be a good unit to replace parts in that synth.

I can't say if I would sell mine or not since I didn't have the time to 
really play with it, get into it, which is the complicated part of that 
synth. However, waveform analysing/generating software for the K5 
exists, and simplifies things a lot.
