Re: k5 memory card

the card is not necessary, but it doubles the amount of sounds you can
store on the synth. (Without a card you have 48 single and 48 multi
sounds)

The card that works on the K5 is the Kawai DC-32 and you can usually
get it on eBay.

The Kawai DC-series memory cards are in fact Kawai-branded "Fujisoku
38-pin" SRAM cards.

The Kawai DC-32 is 32KB and usually sells for at least $80.

However, I've just found a Fujisoku card on eBay that -should- work in
the K5 as it has more space :

I think it's worth trying, as it has a lot of chances to work and
costs a ridiculous $13. The Fujisoku SRAM cards, no matter the brand,
usually sell for much more. The cards are still produced, but they
cost at least $60 / unit.
