Cold solder joints inside the inverter, which is filled with epoxy. (Can't be fixed.)

There's a JKL inverter that has the same specs, but a different form factor. It's possible to use it. I can't tell you the model number right now, but it's somewhere on kfuenf.org .

I switched on my K5 and left it on for a while (~1 hour) and everything was ok... 

then I switched it off and on a few times, the backlight was ok...

it seems the inverter is not dead, it's just unreliable...

anyway... what's the replacement for this 'nichia' white inverter?
