Now that I think about it, I did buy them around '87.  

I want to emulate it because I am fascinated by additive synth, Fourier 
analysis, etc. Also the sound quality is not the best on these and I want use 
some of these sounds on a CD.  


Longer term, the direction I am going on is to emulate it so that I understand 
why the sounds sound the way they do. (understanding: best way to trap humans) 
Once understood and emulated, then I plan to branch off and extend. 




The most keeping-it-real answer: I just want too.  ;)
