Congrats on getting a K5m for so cheap... There are quite a few sysex patches here in the group's file section. The K5's do analog sounds very well. To nitpick the low end is a bit lacking but hey.

I have seen where super bright LED's were used with sandblasted acrylic or lexan with a white paper backing. The last guy that did this was working on a CZ1 in one of the Casio groups. 

I'm a windoze PC user so I can't help with the Mac editor thing.
