Hi folks,
I decided to post my MiniTutorial on creating a simple Karma-fied
combi in the "Files" section. It's in PDF format so you'll need
Adobe Reader etc.
Just click on the "Files" link in the left hand menu, then click
on the "Tutorials" folder and it should be the first link up. Just
click on the hypertext and it should open. Copy to your computer,
then print it out and try it.
That simple tutorial will get you started on combi creation, one
of the more difficult tasks in the Karma. Once you have mastered
that set of procedures, you can move on to developing combis with
more GE modules functioning. I would suggest the next step would be
to add a bass line in Module B, followed by some inteweaving
descants in Module C, and so forth. Once you've ventured that far,
you should follow Paul Osborn's "Combi Creation Tutorial" (link
previously posted).
Good luck and have fun.
Cheers,
Eric, EJ2 Karma Programmer
PS: If you haven't downloaded the 5 new FREE combis from ETM, go to
the "Files" section and open the "PCG" folder. Click on
the "5ETMdemo.zip" link. Save the files to your desktop, copy the
PCG and KGE to floppy disk, then load up the PCG in Bank C or D or F
(yes, combis can load in bank F) as per my instructions I included
in the .txt doc.
