Maybe I'll actually get THIS post right... It seems that this long link problem can be solved for those of us who download group mail into our email programs for reading offline. The poster simply encloses the long link in angle brackets. Like so: <your super long link goes here blah blah blah etc etc> However, if the reader chooses to read group mail through the Yahoo website interface rather than downloading into an emailer, this apparently doesn't work and you'll still have to copy and paste the sections of the link.
