In this photo http://mitglied.lycos.de/christianspranger/stevedave.jpg
the underneeth synth is MOTIF 8 and upwards of MOTIF is Triton.
I have a MOTIF ES6, KARMA, Triton Rack, Navation KS4.
If you want music like Jazz, Rebert Miles, Yanni etc, with high quality sound, KARMA and Triton's it is not good.

The keyboardist playing that synyh part in Africa, was Steve Porcaro, and it wasn't a Motif.
  He's here; http://toto_rocks.tripod.com/id20.html
Hard to tell what he's playing in these, but the Motif wasn't even an Idea back then.

Well it seems I founded what I'm searching for. The Kurzweil is
definitly the way to go for my needs.

Hey Jon, do you remember the Toto's song "Africa"...

It's my reference about synth tones. Do you know what keyboard(s) is
    used in that tune?
