Hi elisa, or Bob...??

1st of all, i assume G4 Mac is your computer model and logic is your 
software synchronizer. Because i don't know mac.

The first problem you've mentioned could be the setting of Local 
Control off in your Global setting. Just turn it on manually to hear 
your voice. Logic the software has automatically turn it off for you 
everytime you open it to avoid double voicing.

The second one you say no midi data transfer between your pc and Karma. 
And you even say you record in audio track!!! Hmmm... do you have the 
midi out/in plug connecting your Karma and PC correctly? Have you 
installed the driver yet? Does your Logic software detected a Midi In 
device (your karma) in the setting up screen and make sure you have 
chosen it.
