help with logic and karma

ok - I am pretty new to the how digital music world. I recently bought a karma and logic
express - with an m-audio audiophile connection. I have the karma connected via midi
and audio. I can get the Midi to triger softsyth sounds on logic - and I can record audio
from karma into logic.
My question(s) is this: 1) I really want to program drumbeats via midi. Is there a way to
map .aiff files to my keyboard so I can trigger those files via midi when I hit the keys?
2) I have been reading about enviroment set-ups with logic. like: http://
www.nightwingpro.com/karmalogicenv.html and http://www.karma-lab.com/. Do I need
these to run my Karma sounds into Logic? Is there a way to dump all the sounds in Karma
to Logic?
Sorry for all the questions - I just can't seem to get them anwsered anywhere.
