Easy way to change time signature of Combis / Karma function ?

I know this is like cheating - "Read the Manual !" many will 
probably tell me - but it is daunting.

I play alot of music in 3/4 6/8 and 9/8.
I love many of the factory settings for combis but want to change 
the time signature on them from 4/4 to something different.
Is there a straightforward way to do this ?

Even if you could point me to the appropriate pages of the user 
manuals - that would be very appreciated.
