Hi Mawd,
Demo sounding or not, the Karma and KARMA Technology is an
extremely creative music composition tool. Whether one prefers to
work in GE-driven (Arps on steroids) musical architecture or to
compose directly from the keys themselves, this music workstation is
an exceptional piece of kit that is greatly misunderstood and under
appreciated. It takes time and dedication to unfold the layers of
this Maroon Monster in order to release your innate talents and
tricks.

I prefer to work in Combination Mode from my own designs. Karma
Combinations can be considered mini compositions waiting to happen
and dependant upon the actions of the performer playing the keyboard,
activating RealTime Controls etc. They are eons beyond the Casio,
PA, Tyros type patterns. And for those who think that Karma
Combinations are nothing more than "Arranger-type" prototypes have
missed the value and compositional prospects this machine
altogether. They are decidedly so much more.

Admittedly, creating your own combis is not well handled by many
Karma owners, mostly because there is such an array and depth of
options to explore. In fact, as one KKY member related, it is
mathematically impossible to program all the potential arrangements,
interconnections, paramenters etc. in one's lifetime. That's the
beauty of the Karma and KARMA. You don't have to sound like anything
or anyone else.

So, having said all that, here are some links for you to explore
demos of 3rd party combinations in action. Not one of these has been
overdubbed or subjected to post-production editing. What you hear are
combis that have been activated by the Chord Triggers while
improvising in the right hand followed by manipulation of the Real
Time Controls - Joystick, Scenes, K-RTCs etc.
