Hi Len,
   The OASYS does not have a vocoder, at least not at this time.  I 
don't think Korg will be "blending" the RADIAS and the OASYS anytime 
soon either.
    Roland has gone retro-repack with their latest.  I'm not too 
impressed yet; though a good auditioning may prove differently.  I 
have the V-synth XT and the vocoder in that baby is just awesome.  I 
would say the RADIAS and the XT are in serious competition with each 
other.  I'll wait till I get my mitts on the RADIAS before I can 
compare the two.  XT just had an OS update to fix a few bugs, but 
I'm not at home to check it out.
    With XT, I got rid of my D50 with all of the ROM cards I 
collected over the years, because the D50 and most of the cards are 
resident in the XT, plus the librarian allows me to access the tons 
of banks that the great D50 spawned.  The XT, in addition to the 
mangling V-Synth, has both the D50 V-1 Card and the Vocal Designer V-
2 Card built in, along with the USB integration and audio inputs as 
well. 
    So, now I have two big tugs going on - RADIAS or OASYS.  The 
pocket book and dance genre says R, the potential for massive 
compositional tools and mastering right within the board says O.
   Time to unload some gear.
