Spam just got deleted and the author banned.

The latest spam message has been deleted and the author banned. For
those who take their posts as email/digest it will have made it to your
inbox. For those of us who prefer not to receive email, we won't see
the offending message.
When I receive the alerts that there has been a new member added, I
sometimes question the user name and wonder if he/she is a spammer. A
few I have banned immediately upon their arrival, but some get through.
I still think we are OK. it just means that I have to be vigilant.
