First up....set your ext. sequencer to MIDI....next...open up the MIDI channels you want to record to BTH....I think you'll find this in EDIT.....let's take drums as an example.......hit record on your ext. sequencer and hit a key on your Karma....this will record MIDI data into your sequencer sync'd up.......I then move the all the data to the 2nd. bar.....repeat the process with Bass etc....don't open all of your midi channels...... well.....you can if you want to but the results are usually very messy because it's includung data you don't need in with the data you do need. You only need about 6-8 bars of each set of voicings........when you play your data back....make sure ALL of your arpegigiators are OFF.......make sure the BPM's of the Karma is the same as your ext. sequencer....SAVE! Now, in theory, you should be able to cut 'n' paste or write your own melody lines etc as you wish.....works for me. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
