yep in my case to run sonar to record, I have to load the karma software first, ensure all midi connections in and out as it will fail or not work if the extreme is not on, then ensure I have loaded the programs and combis right, have the extreme set to the software settings etc.. once done, play it to see... now I load sonar up.. load sonar, the karma software will not load at all, it will fail ... some midi conflict or dll thing... to record, audio is no problem, it's the midi routing that is a bit crazy but that is another story.. ;-) the items you sent me, load them in, don't see in the software... load them into the software, use the software to load them into the extreme, they don't sound right or work.. go into the ge performances etc, all of that seems inactive or not set... I am sure you know the hundreds of things in there that can be set or altered... so I am at a lost on what to turn on, set up or change... I am sure there is some step or something I should do when loading that Stephen has in his sets that work ... So in the software I see 3 banks of combis's set up, 3 sets of programs set up... I see some banks with nada, some with GM some drums stuff ... I don't think I have been able to reach bank F yet... ----- Original Message ----- From: EJ2 - Double EJ Projects To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 5:10 AM Subject: [korgkarma] Re: KARMA-fied Combi Collections converted to karma software version Are you loading from the software or trying to load within the TE? You need to access the PCG from the software. --- In [email protected], "Dale Kay" <dale@...> wrote: > > You don't have the software right? > While true in the extreme when you have the moss card, bank f is the place for the moss patches, I have that in mine. > But in the software I don't really see that. > The ones you sent me and I found here and there, don't mesh with the software and extreme. > I was sort of hoping maybe someone here might have done this or know what I am talking about. > > I'll email you Eric another question off list... ;-) > > dale > dale@... > Lancaster CA > > Recent events require your assistance to your charities.
