Hi Greg, A number of spammers have been banned and their posts deleted. It seems to be on the increase lately. One way to avoid this crap is to set your preferences to no email. Instead, come to the group to read the latest messages instead of receiving a digest or individual emails. We can't catch all the spam until after it happens, unless I can tell from the spammers name (e.g. [email protected]) before hand. If you look back at the "Messgages" list, you'll see that all those offending posts have been deleted. I can also tell you that the authors have been banned. The truth of the matter is, however, we get more new legitimate arrivals than spammers, so I don't think we are at the point of closing shop yet. It's coincidental that you have asked. I was about to post a message about all the spammers who have been banned in the past few weeks - less than the fingers on one hand, though.
