Eric (EJ2) is back on line now, EJAZZ, OASYS etc.

Greetings all,
   I'm back home now and my internet is back on line.  My first task 
will be to get "EJAZZ" ready for market, then on to my O-76.  As for 
the OASYS being 5 times worth a Karma, I guess, Tom, it's a matter of 
perception and priority.  To me, it is.  Karma 2 is 50 times better 
than Karma 1.  That's for sure.  The sounds in OASYS are so much 
better than anything else I have or have had - Motif, Fantom S, V-
synth, JD800/990, Virus, Karma etc.  But, I completely understand 
where many musicians are coming from with respect to the OASYS pricing.

   Everyone in KLF and Korg Forums who owns an OASYS continues to 
praise the hell out of it, even though we all have our wish lists; and 
they do not regret their investment (and it is an investment).  Those 
few who have been forced to sell because of financial concerns did so 
very reluctantly.  Since the OASYS appeared on the scene, I can count 
only 3 owners in the world who had to sell.  I don't know what that 
says, but all other manufactures had much higher incidences of 
turnover in the first year of their latest.

   Thanks to those who jumped in to help the last few posters.  I 
guess that's what this place was meant to be....that and keeping a 
solid participation over at KLF (the best place for all things Karma) 
and Korg Forums (if you have multiple Korg equipment).

   Finally, for those of you who take your postings as email or as 
digests, you'll note that I have been regularly deleting spam messages 
and banning the authors.  In some cases, I caught suspicious new 
members before they had a chance to post and banned them immediately. 
I think under the circumstances, it is wise to change your preferences 
here to "No e-mail".  That way, you can just visit this website, scan 
the messages then decide on which ones interest or concern you and 
read or reply to only those.

   It's nice to be back home in Canada. I feel a lot safer here and 
the great weather is now upon us.
