Greetings all,
Over the summer, we added a growing number of new members to KKY.
No doubt this is due to the fact that, as most of us we concur, the
Karma has become a classic music workstation still in great demand.
From beginner to novice we can all attest to the sonic attributes
of this amazing piece of music technology. Yet, along with it's
depth and diversity, comes the task of managing the complexity of
it's parameters to make music. A great deal depends on how deep one
wishes to venture into the Karma and KARMA Technology, and of course
the committment involved.
To this end, I would advise those wanting to do more than just play
around with the presets to search the files section (see the menu at
the left) and to join the other two support groups
Karma Lab Forums http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/index
and Korg Forums http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/index.php?
You'll find most of the experts in those two groups.
Finally, if you are wondering about additional sounds for your
Karma, there are fully Karma-fied collections available from
reputable 3rd-party sound designers Paul Osborn, Scott Raposa, and
yours truly, Eric. With that, here are links to some really great
collections for your Karma:
EJ2 Combi Collections - http://2ej2.tripod.com/id1.html
Karma Lab - http://www.karma-lab.com/sounds/sounds.html
Once again, welcome to all new members. Glad to see you here.
Cheers,
Eric
