Re: How to make a sequence have rhythm

Hi Clifford,
   The first thing I would recommend is to go to your Voice Name List
and browse the programs listed noting the name, category and location
of possible candidates for your drone.  Jot these down on a piece of
paper.  Now go to Program mode and select one of these for audition. 
Make sure you turn off the KARMA and LATCH to listen to the unaffected
sound.  Next, turn on the KARMA and play a few notes.  If the GE is
not to your liking (i.e., it's not the kind of groove you want), click
on the KARMA tab, then scroll down and select another GE.  You could
use the Voice Name List here again to browse the various GEs that are
available and try them out.
   Once you have a program and a GE matched to what you're looking
for, save this to a new "EMPTY" program bank - e.g. C000 with a new
name.  After this has been properly saved, go to your new program with
the KARMA and LATCH on. Now, hit "Enter" and REC/WRITE at the same
time then hit "OK".  Your new program will be loaded into the
sequencer ready to go and you should hear the metronome ticking
waiting for you to start recording.  Hit "START/STOP" and commence
playing.  When you want to stop recording, hit "START/STOP" again.  To
listen to what you have sequenced, hit "START/STOP".
   I would suggest that you read the manuals, especially the Basic
Guide right at your Karma and not in a sofa.  In addition, browse the
"Files" section here or over at KLF.  Hope that helps.
