Hi Eric,
As Stephen said over at KLF:
"If there is a buzz in the headphone,
with no audio cables connected to the unit, that suggests that there
is either:
a) a voltage mismatch as Eric has suggested, or
b) something is wrong with the unit, and it needs to be serviced.
I take it you are using it with the power supply that it came with,
right?"
So, are you using a 220 v step up converter? Does it have switchable
voltage in/out? Does your other equipment function well using the
converter?
On a different focus, did you have lots of padding, cushion packed
around your Karma when you moved from Holland? Shippers, airlines,
transports etc. are notorius for rough manhandling boxes. There's a
chance your unit was damaged in the transfer.
Sorry I can't be of better assistance. Hope you get this sorted out.
I know what it's like to have a favorite keyboard malfunctioning.
Cheers,
Eric
