Seeking a Recommendation

I would like to add another keyboard instrument to my set-up with Karma so that I can use the Karma for background and the second keyboard to add leads, layers, etc to the sound.  

I'm not a skilled musician and I've heard some good things about the Korg TR insofar as its "built-in" arpeggiators and other interesting automations.  Can you help me make a good decision that will compliment (and be compatible with) the Karma so that both instruments can work together?
