Hi folks, let me clarify something here:

I have never given KARMA MW software away for free, and I never will. This is how I make
my living, how I pay my bills, pay for gas and food. The rest of you presumably have jobs -
well, this is my job. Not my hobby. :-)

At one time (4 years ago), Korg USA (which is the US division of Korg Inc in Japan) made a
deal with me to purchase a number of copies of the MW software. They paid me money for
them, and then they could do what they wanted with them. They chose to make the
software available to people who purchased the Karma (new from a US store) after Jan 1,
2002 for free (a promotional incentive), and $75.00 to anyone else in the US.

Nobody has ever "hidden" this information, it's right there on Korg's site.

Each Korg distributor is free to make these kinds of promotional offers to their customers
in their region of the world. At one point, Korg UK was giving away a free Moss Board to
England only customers. Nobody in the USA got that deal.

Note that when getting it from Korg, at this point, you wait a number of weeks, and you
get a version 1.0 CD that has an old version of the program. The original version has a
number of bugs that have been fixed. The current version of the program is 1.3.1. Yes,
you can update it for free at www.karma-lab.com/updates. However, you will need to re-
register it after installing and upgrading, because the codes will unfortunately not be the
same.

When you order it from me, you get an immediate download of the latest version, and of
course, "priority support."

Hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Note that I don't show up here very often, unless there's something major that needs
clarification - I can be found over at www.karma-lab.com/forum anytime you need me.
