Stephen.  I tried to explain this but you've filled in the greater
details on the availability or purchase of MW.

PS: By the way, I've been using MW (and its updates) ever since it was
introduced. When KARMA OASYS (KO) comes out for Karma's big brother,
you can bet I'll be getting that as well.
