Re: Korg M3 with Karma 2 announced at Karma Lab

Hi Steve,
  Yes, that seems to be the price for the 61 key version. Not sure 
what the table top version M3-M will be, but I'm sure those who've 
been lusting for a Karma module will be excited about that.  We were 
told time and again by Stephen not to expect such an incarnation for 
quite some time.  I expect the M3-M will not get out till this coming 
summer or fall.

   Now, to set matters clear, this is NOT an OASYS 2. Even though 
many of the sounds have their antecedents in the OASYS, the M3 is 
chip based as opposed to OASYS' Linux kernelled P4. The latter makes 
the OASYS much more powerful and open to all kinds of additions.

Just the same, any KARMA 2 hardware from Korg is a real winner.
