   Sorry for the late reply.  I thought I had this answered 
yesterday, but I must have clicked the wrong link to post.  Anyway,
here is basically what I said:
   Do NOT overwrite bank E! In fact do NOT overwrite A, B or E.  They 
contain all the factory preset combis - really great ones at that.  
My advice is to proceed as you have described - work from Bank C as 
your source bank and write to bank D or F (yes, bank F if you do not 
have EXB MOSS).  Now, there is a tool that you can download free over 
at KLF that will make your life easier in this.  Here is a link to a 
very basic Karma Librarian - http://www.karma-
lab.nl/Div/KarmaLibrarian3.zip 
  This Karma Librarian does not come with instructions.  So you may 
want to explore it first before using it.  However, once you have the 
software downloadedand installed to your computer, start the program 
(not easy to find in the folder) then simply call up your source bank 
in the left panel and drag and drop selected combis to your 
destination bank in the right panel.  Select the bank destination 
letter and save your new bank to your computer desktop with a chosen 
name, e.g., MyFav1.  Now, just copy this pcg to a new floppy disk for 
transfer to your Karma.  That's it.  Very simple and basic, but it 
works for me.
   My next advice is to develop your own pattern for bank management 
and remember always to back up to disk anything you do not want to 
lose.  I would also suggest that you investigate one of those 3.5 
floppy card reader adapters so that you can store and load files to 
larger volume SD cards etc.  I'll be looking into this when I get 
back home in the Spring.
