  Creating a favorites combi bank in F - yes, F if you do not have 
EXB MOSS - is your best bet.  DO NOT overwrite combis in A, B or E.  
Those are you factory presets.  Of course if you want to create 
favorites in there, you can - just remember to do a back up of your 
factory preload presets.  Next, take care to back up to disk as you 
go along.  To recap, combi banks C, D, and F are available to you for 
developing/compiling specialized banks.  Your idea of working from C 
then copying to D or F (NOT E) is a good strategy.

   Now, if you have the very rudimentary Karma Librarian available 
free from KLF, that will make your life a lot easier.  I'll try to 
search for the direct link in a minute.  Now, you simply call up the 
source bank on the left panel and then drag and drop combis to the 
destination bank on the right panel.  Don't forget to save your new 
bank under a new name. I think the newest version, thanks to Chris 
from the Nederlands, will allow you to determine the Bank 
destination. Just save a floppy disk copy from your desktop or folder 
where you are compiling so you can take it to load in your Karma.
