There is a battery that keeps your rom memory in tact when the unit is off.
The battery charges itself when the unit is on and the bios, so to speak
will erase if the unit is left off too long. So if you are not going to use
it, you will lose the memory. I suggest turning it on at least once every
month for an hour or so.

HI,
guess what... my Karma doesn't turn oneither. It powers up but the led
screen remains blank. I had this problem once before, I was told by a tech
that the memory had been erased. Well, I guess it happened again...
It'll be going into the shop this coming week...Hopefully it wont happen
again. Maybe, storagehas something to do with it. I last used it over a year
ago... and now... well you get the picture.
I posted a question on the Karma forum, but up until now no one has replied.
So keep me posted...
