Syncing all that gear together is gonna be chaos, you may wanna look at the products built by a company called MIDIsolutions and this other product called mungosync(avail on analogue haven), to keep them all timed together. Get the vintage archives EXB board for the Karma if you dig the old 80's sounds...I'm waiting for the 90's to come back..James brown is dead=James Brown is resurrected. Your looking for Flute and Guitar sounds better than Karma??? Your only gonna get that on the Oasys or the M3, or a good sample library. To be honest, I'd sample all those MC-505 one shot drum sounds than sell that machine and the Rm1x, with the sales $$$ purchase a secondhand RS-7000 which is an Rm1x with built in sampler and better control over efx. biskitjj <[email protected]> wrote: Thanks For you help. Yes There are Both SO Lovely to have work together. I'm still having trouble with the volume issues, I'll keep trying to find a solution. AND I'm DREAming BUT IF MY MC 505 even Comes out of the SHOP(LCD Screen) I'll have that too.. MORE Sound then Most ORDinary people can handle. Plus my Alesis QS6.2 Synth, it does have some sounds the Korg doesn't. I do like ALesis Synth I heard bad talk But it's good too for now aleast, the Euro dance Card Has some New Sounds to it. BUt I might replace it with the Mofit / Fantom Rack or Juno G. I'm looking for something with better flute and guitar Sounds. My APT Will BE The OLD Sckool MEETS the NEW REcording studio. I just love the Karmas String, Basses, Pads, Leads. Electric Piano, DRum and Bass Piano, drum kits And I just love the Gamelan sounds And those Ethnic instrument sounds, I could play those patchs all day. I'll able to make any kind of dance music from D n B to TRance. The only others sounds I want to look for are some of those old 80's sounds like In that song Safety Dance, Human League songs. I heard Something on my Karma today that sounded like that song Putting On the Ritz. They say the 80's are coming back, I still like some Of those sounds from back then; But I'll never where A Neon Shirt again:) --- In [email protected], phil thomas <digitalbeatsyndrome@...> wrote: > > I've had the Rm1x' since it came out, I know how bad-ass it is as a sequencer, RM1X > > mixed with the KARMA function your looking powerful sequencing with alot of RTFM and > > trial and error. > > Since Tracks 1-4 on Rm1x are playing Karma's drums, I'd recommend loading the MIDI > > files of the RM1x into the Karma and using the Karma as the master and the Rm1x as the > > slave.
