Thanks for jumping in here, Wayne; and thanks for your positive
comments on my EJ2 Collections.

Just to repeat, all EXB-PCM expansion boards are hard to come by
these days. Go to the following link then scroll down to click on
Expansion Options to open up a new menu.
http://www.korg.com/gear/default.asp?categoryID=1
You'll see all of them listed there. Now, if you want KARMA-fied
expansions, only 2 have been revoiced for Karma by Korg - EXB04 Dance
Extreme and EXB05 Vintage Archives (this one is the better of the
2). The best EXBs for Karma in my opinion are EXB MOSS (Multi
Oscillator Synthesis System) for which I have a KARMA-fied
collection, EXB05 Vintage Archives (up for grabs right now on eBay),
and EXB09 Trance Attack (also KARMA-fied by EJ2) which I think is the
best of the lot.

Hope that helps for now.
Cheers,
Eric

Multi-Osc Synth System and is a circuit board that is installed in
the bottom of the KARMA under the silver access door --- READ THE
MANUAL for tips on installing either kinds of expansions as there are
invaluable tips/tricks.

may be the only place these are avail(?) and not all of them are
Karmafied.

especially MOSS. I have installed mine but have never even loaded up
the software to read it : | ---- will anyone (other than Eric) ever
get to the depths of the "Maroon Monster?" Speaking of Eric, he has
done 3rd party work that mimics some EXB/MOSS as many do not have the
expansions.

synth programming approaches. I snatched a number of them up when I
bought my KARMA. If you ever buy a synth new, get all the expansions
you can while they are out there (learned this the hard way on my
JD800). . . My KARMA misses me because Radias came along and (dare I
say) the Polar. I'm thinking I should take KARMA baby to that
desserted island when I go -- hehe.
