Hi Frank,
Thanks - I needed the chuckles. Loved the wave, and the skipping back home bit : ). . . those boys were even signing during the chorus line.
I spend the weekend at Seaside OR -- I actually enjoyed the tourist trappy little town ('course, it is November). Our friend has a time share and took us there - great view of the ocean from our room. If any pictures turn out I may send you some (just pretend they are from some beautiful place other than the hate state ; )
Hope you are well -- also enjoyed your letter to the Pres!

Subject: [korgkarma] sounds different in prog and seq mode how to match

Greetings all,
I have had a Karma for a while but it has been sadly neglected in all
honesty because the manual is so bad.
I find that playing with the combis or even the program sounds is
annoying because the minute I want to record a sequence of something
I've been working on the sound is drastically different in seq mode.
Can anyone here explain (or point me to a clearer resource than the
standard manual)how to set the parameters on a sound in sequence mode
to match those that you hear in the program?
I used to just try creating sequences with the sounds as they are in
sequence mode but that not only got boring but also is not really
using the full potential of this keyboard i'm sure.
I guess my next question would be how to do this with a combi but I
imagine that is somewhat more complicated so I'll pose that in another
post.
Any and all responses will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
~E
ps: does anyone here find this manual to be equally bad?
I have a lot of other gear and find the manuals to be far superior,
IE:clearer and easier to understand.
