I found the EXB-PCM-06 and 07 expansion boards on ebay which are good for orchestral sounds but it will be a long time before I get familiar with even half the features of this wonderful time waster!

Hi again,

I actually searched the Karmalab forum and found most of the answers I needed. Interesting, I did install a new EXB PCM01 board as well and it wiped out the Karma parameters of my A + B Bank (as you mentioned.) Very confusing for a newcomer! So, not knowing what I had done wrong, I did a full V 2.0 factory reload (all files are avail on the Karmalab site) and was happy again. Then, I re-installed the EXB board and wiped it clean once more...whoops!

I finally figured out what I was doing.

The good news is, now Korg has a zip download on their site for Karma users which updates the floppy that comes with the EXB board. It allows users to install the EXB into their Karma, but now without affecting the other banks. Very helpful for Karma owners.
