The effort is not worth it. People who develop karma have said that....inco=
mpatible. Keep the maroon monster if you like it. I almost kept mine when I=
bought the M3 due to some really fine GE's in the original. It is not wort=
h the effort to convert them and it might be truly impossible.=C2=A0

Thanks to all.I have not given up. I am still toying with a few ideas ... b=
ut so far ... nothing has worked. I was going to sell the Karma ... but I m=
ay just keep it for a few sounds ... at least till I can come up with somet=
hing close.=C2=A0

Sequences will only work as MIDI files. The rest of the data (eg programs,=
GEs, IFX, MFX, etc.) will not translate. As for the GEs, there is NOT a o=
ne-to-one correspondence of Karma GEs vis-a-vis the GEs found in M3s.=20

My advice is to forget about trying to transfer Karma PCGs to M3. It simpl=
y will not work...period. If it did, I'd have all of my Karma collections =
(ETM, Mosster, Tranzfer, etc.) converted a long time ago. Indeed, Scott Ra=
posa, had to totally redevelop his work to produce "Reincarnated" for M3. =
In my case, I simply went in a new direction to develop Catalyst v 1. I wi=
sh I had a different answer.

Cheers,

What I want though is only a few of the old programs and a couple of combis=
. I could not figure out how to transfer just a few instead of the whole ba=
nk. Thanks- Daniel

All you will be able to move over are sequences, and "maybe" GE's For progr=
ams and combis, you will have to manually recreate all of them. This is one=
of the biggest reasons I did not buy an M3 to replace my Triton EXT.
