Re: sticking buttons

Unfortunately you need to open up the Karma to get at the circuit boards that the buttons are mounted on. Once they are out you can see whats happening. If there is gunk stuck between the plastic button top and the switch under it, you can use rubbing alcohol to clean the gunk off. Then you would spray some de-oxit cleaner between the post that sticks out of the switch and the switch body. After spraying a switch, you would work it by pressing it a few times to get the de-oxit cleaner into the mechanism. Do that for each switch. Since you have it open, it wouldn't hurt to do the same for your faders. After cleaning the faders, you would use some fader lubricant to keep them from waring. (This helps get rid of the scratchiness of you volume fader and the jumpiness of the data fader). 

I buy de-oxit from parts-express.com, but I sure you can find it anywhere. Its a bit pricy but it works wonders. Its also great for cleaning the 1/4" outputs (non-gold plated), etc. It dissolves the oxidation quickly. You's want to use some technician's foam Q-tips for that type of cleaning.
