    Absolutely.  These are designed to be user-installed.  You won’t need more than a phillips head screwdriver.  The only other module is the Orchestral ROM.  Beyond that, yes, disks or a SCSI drive (or a SCSI2SD, which is well worth it).  Just be sure you max out the sample RAM at the same time.  If you plan on using the built-in sequencing capabilities, I’d recommend installing the P/RAM expansion as well.  There’s a guy in Poland who sells an aftermarket that drops in.  From: <[email protected]> on behalf of "[email protected] [KurzList]" <[email protected]>

Subject: [KL] Kurzweil k2500 rack sounds    Hi all,  I've tried to research this but it seems I still need a little more info. I just picked up rack version of K2500. It has all the standard sounds but I want to max it out. I picked up stereo piano/contemporary rom on ebay. Is this something that I would be able to install myself? Also, what are the preferred methods of getting more sounds on here? cd's, floppy's? Do I need to updated operating system? Any info would be great .
