Re: K2500XS Issues

 Thank you for responding and for all the helpful information. 
 

 I was able to find the service manuals online. I followed the instructions  regarding the Rom errors and removed the expansion roms ( I have all 3) the daughter board and pram. When I reinstalled the daughter board the unit no longer boots up. It just has a blank but lit screen and the buttons flash 3 times and then nothing else happens. One time turning it on after that I did see the please wait message but I couldn’t access the buttons to hit ok. But now it s back to just the blank screen. Hopefully it’s just a loose connector or something. I checked all the cable and everything appears to be in place. Any ideas what would cause it not to boot like that?
 

 I also checked the power supply and it’s on the right voltage and also the internal +5V and +/- 12V rails are good so it looks like the PSU is ok. 
 

 I’ll try some more tests tomorrow.
