Continuous Controllers stopped working PC88

My expression pedal seemed to stop working. First I checked out the pedal itself by testing it through a midi controller for my guitar and it sees it just fine. So I tried using my midi scope and I see no activity whenever I plug it into any of the 4 inputs. All other controllers show up working on the midi scope. Does anyone have suggestions?
