Most of what you need to know is on Kurzweil's web site. The "Knowledge
Base" covers a lot of topics, and the downloads page will provide you the
most recent manuals and OS if you need them.

The GM files for the K2500? On the download page.
Loading songs from disk? The K2500 Performance Guide, Chapter 12, Song
Mode, p.12-51 mentions loading type 0 and type 1 MIDI files.
Importing SMF files? Chapter 13, Disk Mode, p.13-68 says that it imports
type 0 and type 1 SMF.
Where to get SMF? Depends on what you want.
