Correction, the muting circuit also mutes the A/B/C/D Left/Right outputs as well.  That means the un-muting circuit is driving 11 relays continuously while the K2600 is powered on.    

 All 11 relays are energized in normal operation to allow audio to pass thru. The only time the relays are not active is power off and during the start up/booting of the K2600.

 

 Do you hear relays click when you turn on the K2600?   I would think 11 relays switching should be audible -but maybe the cooling fan masks them?
