PC2 Power Supply Kycon Jack Socket Glued to Output Board?

Hi all please help:
I just traded for a PC2 76 key unexpanded. I plan to rehearse or gig with it instead of my iPhone/MK361c or PC3x rigs.
The PC2 was missing the power supply. The 4 pin jack socket on the keyboard was broken but stable - the plastic barrel that holds the pin sockets had broken away but the pin sockets were ok.
Is the power socket glued to the output board? I de-soldered 4 snap connectors but I could not de-solder the 4 pins using my 150w solder gun. The replacement part is a Kycon KPJX-4S-S and is available from Mouser.
My interim socket fix: Buy a Kycon KPJX-PM -4S (panel mount) socket and press out the contacts. Cut the plastic center piece with a dremel. Press it onto the existing socket contacts. Now it is stable, but the center plastic piece can still slip out.
As for the power supply, I cobbled a 12Vac 500ma wall wart (15.3vac output) and a 9vdc 2 amp wall wart (9.3 VDC) into a Kycon KPPX-4P plug.

Looking at the Plug pins with the flat side down, the pins make a trapezoid:
Upper Left is D.C. - Upper right is AC +
Lower Left is D.C. + Lower right is AC -
Looking at the PC2 socket or the solder cups, the connections are reversed.
Left is AC and Right is D.C. And be careful with the PC2R as the socket is mounted upside down.
I soldered it up, fired it up. It plays and sounds nice. The sound is good enough for bottom keys and organ duties. The action is much better than my Evolution MK361c controller. And it is light enough to carry to a show in the city.
If anyone knows if the power jack is glued, please let me know before I take it to a friend with a de-soldering gun.
